Foreglow is live on the US App Store. These are its current US prices, shown before the app asks you anything personal.

These are the US prices for new subscribers from 6 September 2026. They were $7.99 and $39.99 at launch; anyone who subscribed at those prices keeps them. Other storefronts use Apple's equivalent pricing.

No weekly plans, ever.
Why does "no weekly plans" matter?
Because a weekly price is designed to read as small. $9.99 a week sounds like a coffee. It is $519.48 a year, which is more than most people spend on their phone plan.

What do you get without paying?
Your first note — the full thing, spoken, yours to keep. Not a preview, not thirty seconds, not a watermarked sample. It stays on your phone and keeps playing after any subscription ends.
The free tier also includes the whole board and wallpaper editor, playback of every note you have ever made, and export of any note as an audio file. What a subscription buys is more notes, the voice options, and the night loop.
Does Foreglow have a free trial?
The monthly plan does not. The yearly plan has a 7-day introductory trial only when Apple's eligibility check says your App Store account qualifies. Apple controls that eligibility, so Foreglow cannot promise the trial to every person.
The first generated note is separate from a trial: it is free permanently and keeps playing whether or not you ever subscribe.
How do you cancel?
In Settings on your iPhone, the same as every other App Store subscription — Apple handles the billing and Foreglow never sees your card. Cancelling takes about fifteen seconds and does not require emailing us, finding a hidden screen, or answering why.
When it lapses, nothing of yours is deleted. Notes you already made keep playing. Your board stays. Export still works. We do not hold your own recordings hostage to a renewal.

Competitor prices below were read from each app's own US App Store listing on 4 August 2026. Public purchase lists may include promotional or legacy tiers and may not expose the full set of current offers. Two entries need explaining rather than a footnote symbol.
Stella had ten in-app purchases in the archived snapshot, all named "Stella - Unlimited" or "Stella Unlimited", priced between $6.99 and $79.99 without billing periods. The 6 September web check no longer exposed itemised prices. These are historical observations, not a quote for a current subscription; see the dated Stella source ledger.
Gratitude had a $29.99 annual option in this snapshot, below Foreglow's current annual price. Other apps may offer annual plans, introductory offers or legacy prices that differ from the example shown. Compare the actual plan offered to you before buying.
$9.99 × 52 = $519.48. $4.99 × 52 = $259.48. $2.99 × 52 = $155.48. These are 52 weekly charges at a constant rate, not claims about an app's cheapest annual offer. Cancelling earlier, choosing a different plan or qualifying for an offer changes what you pay.
Foreglow's yearly plan is $49.99. Against Aya's weekly plan at its listed rate, that is a difference of $469.49 over twelve months.
How were these prices checked?
Each app's US App Store product page was opened in a real browser on 4 August 2026 and its In-App Purchases list was read directly off the page. Publisher names and rating counts came from Apple's public lookup endpoint on the same day. Both captures are stored with their source URLs.
Prices change. If you are reading this well after August 2026, check the store listing yourself before trusting the number — and tell us if we are out of date, because a stale price table is worse than none.
Worth saying plainly
Foreglow is not the cheapest app on that table and does not claim to be. It is the one that tells you the number before it asks you anything about your life, does not sell a weekly plan, and lets you keep what you made after you stop paying.
